Would hitting the autopilot set all the controls to ideal? If it does, there should be a setting that when the is an alarm for caution due to external or internal conditions the system automatically goes into autopilot

About the missed opportunity of a commando action - I've never seen any such operation in any hijacking in world history. Hail mary commando action in plane hijacking is unheard of, and also I'm pretty sure it is explicitly prohibited by the standard protocols.
